The first European Innovation Dialogue (EID) took place in Brussels on 6 and 7 December 2005. During the first day organised in Hotel Stanhope participants presented and discussed the '3 Cs': Human Capital, Knowledge Capital and Financial Capital.
The second day was organised in the European Parliament and reflected on the best way of making EID a permanent dialogue, representing the interests of innovation stakeholders from the various disciplines.
The event was followed-up by an online consultation collecting views and arguments why a European level innovation initiative could bring an added value to achieve 'more and better innovations'.
