The role of innovations to achieve Europe’s ambitious energy goals is pertinent now more than ever. In times of economic instability and global climate change, there is a need to foster innovations created by talented people that develop energy efficient services and products that meet EU sustainability targets. The evening was hosted by MEP Herczog and the programme allowed participants to discuss innovative approaches undertaken in the areas of heating, construction and transport. The debate started with a series of statements made by experts with different backgrounds from the public, private and academic sectors.
