K4I Forum of the European Parliament
 


The "K4I Forum of the European Parliament" was launched as the "K4I Lisbon Forum" on 1st of December 2008 in the European Parliament. It is a policy dialogue platform which was designed specifically for policy makers and the business and science communities to effectively introduce their respective agendas and address the most pressing issues concerning the knowledge and innovation community.

 

Activities

Within the Forum, dinner meetings, conferences and round table discussions are held on issues pertinent to K4I and the political members of the "K4I Forum of the European Parliament". For example, during the December 1-2 event, representatives from different Commission Directorate General’s responsible for areas important to innovation such as enterprise, research, education, health, food, energy, regional development and information-communication technology presented their initiatives and viewpoints.

 

The "K4I Forum of the European Parliament" is inviting the respective EU Presidency to support events organised by the "K4I Forum of the European Parliament" during their mandate.

 

Structure

The "K4I Forum of the European Parliament Governing Board" is composed of 12 Members of the European Parliament and 12 advisors form the K4I Board of Management.
