Ivars Ijabs is a full member of the European Parliament Committee on Industry, Research and Energy and Delegation for relations with the United States. He is a substitute member of the European Parliament Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection, Delegation for relations with the countries of the Andean Community, Delegation for relations with the countries of Southeast Asia and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and Delegation to the Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly.Ijabs is a Vice-Chair of the Panel for the Future of Science and Technology of the European Parliament (STOA).
